From Johannesburg ​

Take the N17 via Leandra to Bethal (toll road)

Continue on to Ermelo, then Piet Retief and Pongola

​

Continue on this road through Pongola and it will become the N2 highway. Continue south until you see the Hluhluwe offramp.

Take the Hluhluwe offramp and turn left at the stop street, continue for approximately 2.5kms until you reach Hluhluwe.

 

 

 

PLEASE NOTE: A lot of GPS's want to take you via Jozini-

this is a VERY corrugated sand road and only really recommended for 4x4's

​From Durban​

Take the N2 north (for approximately 400kms) pass Richard's bay, Mtubatuba and continue until the Hluhluwe offramp.

Take the Hluhluwe offramp,turn right at the stop street, cross over the bridge & continue approximately 2.5kms until you reach Hluhluwe.

​From Hluhluwe​

Drive straight through Hluhluwe, at the last (4th) traffic circle turn left and continue (approx 1.3kms ) until you see a sign for Sodwana Bay. Turn right at this sign and cross over the railway tracks. Continue on this road until you reach Mbazwana (approx 85kms).

 

​Turn right into Mbazwana and follow the Sodwana Bay Signs.
