If you drive through the park gate to access the beach you will be charged a daily entry fee. There is a day visitor car park just before the gate on the left- you can park there and walk to the beach for free. PLease see below the current park entry fees - it's best to check the iSimangaliso.com for the latest fees. There is an additional community levy of R5 per person. They do not accept  WIld Cards or Rhino cards at present. The park gate is open 24 hours.​​​​​
