4 Buoy

Depth 9-12m

A very popular spot on 2 Mile reef. A large sand patch surrounded by stunning hard and soft corals, juvenile rockmover wrasse are frequently found drifiting above the sand as well as blue spotted ribbontail rays.

 

Just to the south divers can swim under a really nice overhang , surrounded by glassies and see facinating marine life as well as watch their own reflection in the bubbles that get trapped under the ledge. Pretty topography with lots of gulleys, ledges and swim throughs, moray eels, turtles and quite often in summer the odd Ragged tooth shark can be found here too.
